This Artistry of Mine

My path as an artist wasn’t a straight line.  It was built through uncertainty, persistence, and a lifelong obsession with drawing.

I earned my B.A. in Studio Art from California State University, Long Beach in 2007. Not long after, an unexpected opportunity changed everything. The CEO of the world renowned dance group, Jabbawockeez, discovered my time lapse paintings on YouTube and recruited me as Head Designer. It was my first real break in the creative world.

Today, I specialize in realism and Asian inspired imagery, blending techniques from fine art and tattooing to push both mediums forward. Some of my “money art” pieces have gained international attention after being shared by artists and icons like Sylvester Stallone, Snoop Dogg, and Bone Thugs‑N‑Harmony.

My love for art started long before any of that. As an only child raised by a blind mother, I spent much of my childhood indoors, filling sketchbooks with characters from cartoons, comics, and films. Movies like Conan the Barbarian, along with the powerful score by Basil Poledouris, shaped my fascination with dramatic imagery and storytelling through art. Music, film, and visual art became inseparable influences in the work I create today.

Every piece I make is rooted in that journey, with years of doubt, relentless practice, and the sacrifices my mother made to give me the opportunity to pursue art in the first place. Her resilience is the foundation of everything I’ve built.
